Film & TV Marissa Cooper on The OC?

I'll probably watch S4 if I get ahold of the S3 DVD whenever it comes out. The main reason I stopped watching was because I had rooted for Seth and Summer so much and I was tired of the ups and downs that a show like that will give you. But that Spider-Man scene, whoa! It's like engraved into my brain for the rest of my life.

nah i doubt it. it would take off the little credibility a show like that has. seriously if they resurrect her, i dont know if i'm gonna watch the show again. because it makes no sense that she would resurrect. this isnt jesus, its marissa cooper, normal troubled girl.

yeah that spiderman was scene was like whoa. they make some hella nice scenes sometimes that you're like: "whoa how could they have even thought of that? thats so smart, so cute, etc."

Thanks I guess. I don't think it has to do with being male or female. To me it's just recognizing something in these characters, usually some sort of desire, and I think we can all, male or female, relate to that struggle and desire and that hope, and that's what art is about.
Whether it's Tupac's struggle for his own personal freedom and peace or Seth/Summer's struggle to find true love in each other, experiencing it with them, especially when their dreams come true, touches the human spirit. The OC plays with our emotions, it gives us their dreams and then takes them away, kind of like real life. But when the show ends, and life ends, the hope is that the dreams are kept...

I think its clear that the OC caters to teenage girls, its strange to find a guy who can get so involved in the show as you do. Thats all I was meaning.
