Man Wtf Is Wrong With The Outlaws? How Could They....

I don't understand the excuse you guys are making and talking about the beat for the og of "This Life I Lead" sounding incomplete. Incomplete or not the beat is a banger. And plus isn't the producer still alive. Just because Pac died doesn't mean he had to stop working on the beat and scrapping it altogether for a beyond bullshit beat.

And lol at Oh My God What The Fuck Laughing Out Loud calling someone an internet thug all because I'm fighting for the right of Pac's music. What they did was unexcusable? I better not hear anybody with that exact og beat other then pac.

Yeah well the album came out in 2002, why are you starting a thread about it in 2006? I mean they usually fuck up all the new beats, aint nothing new.

I don't care. It's essential that the atrocity that happened to the released version of "This Life I Lead" be reviewed and taken to the courts because the people in that decision making process that okayed that beat and track deserve to be sentenced.

Surely you dont think that beat is worse than LTTG hennessey?

I never heard the original beat for "Hennessy" so I don't care. Besides the Red Spyda version of Hennessy overpowered the Eminem version. So when it comes to "Hennessy", justice has been served. As for "This Life I Lead" I'm still waiting for answers and want to know the motive as to why they commited that crime to 2pac's music.

Yeah, but this beat sounded more incomplete. There could be a million reasons why he didn't decide to go with the OG beat, who knows? I think "Catching Feelings" OG beat was a bigger loss than this.

The new beat for "Catchin Feelings" wasn't replaced with a below par mediocre beat though. In fact, that beat captured the intensity of pac's lyrics well. I can't say the same for "This Life I Lead". Can anyone explain how a scooby doo sounding beat relates to the lyrics from "This Life I Lead"?

Man i'm sorry but find somethin better to do than to start a rampage over This Life I Lead jesus

"motive as to why they commited that crime to 2pac's music."

yeah, and you'll be the same one crying on the next 2pac album when they turn you "can't fade me" into another double album filler track by using a ghostbuster type of beat over it.

Probably the same reason they removed kurupt from still ballin. I am betting that Amaru just wasn't happy after the Don't Go to Sleep ep mess. Who cares if daz produced or kurupt rapped, they were on and probably still are on bad terms with amaru.

yea i gotta agree. the og is a good beat but it just dont sound right so i barely listen to it.

and bombsquad would you please stop whining about this life i lead BD version, that beat to me was fine. why it take you 4 years to protest like a ......... what happened? we gotta bigger fuck ups to talk about e.g. about ten tracks of LTTG (including, yes the notorious alladin beat); fuck friends; words 2 my first born; never b peace (had to delete the e, incase 2PacThug4Life is reading this); thug nu u thug n me and the list carries on

I think Words 2 my first born was massacred as well.

I love the OG of Words 2 My First Born and I love Nuttso's verse on the OG, but I think the UTEOT remix is actually pretty decent. Its not better than the OG but its not a travesty. If I had never heard the OG of Words, I'd probably really like the remix.

No, I won't stop whining. If you like what's happening to pac's music then this is not the thread for you. I have a right to do and say what I'm saying. They turned a banger song (whether you fill it was incomplete or not, it was 50x better then the new beat) into a below mediocre filler track. At least Eminem had an excuse for LTTG because he was on drugs and had never heard the original instrumentals. Plus Em had the right intentions and did the beats for free. That new beat for "This Life I Lead" was paid for and was a travesty. Now what is the excuse for the Outlaws for doing what they did?

too many flaws
1.im not happy with some of the production, and logging onto life forum and complaining about it wont change the views of amaru.
2.em had an excuse??? lol, so just cuz he was on drugs his shitty production is justified??, ever thought jj might have been on dope too, or had life problems so he figured "fuckin up" a song was alright
3.man those free beats gave the man an even bigger promotion and wouldnt you produce the whole album for free if you were given the oppurtunity?? 99.9% of members on here who can mix would have done it for free.
4.travesty is in your opinion, but not every one is disappointed with the track.

lol wow that's deep. it took a busload of children to explain that line to me because it was too complex and metaphorical for my juvenile brain to comprehend.
yeah Kurupt was really clever with them rhymes
i was like damn how much time did it take to think of this complicated shit, i would never think of a line like this myself
