A man was arrested for bestiality after he was found raping his neighbour's goat at a village in Limpopo on Sunday morning, police said.

Inspector Ntobeng Phala said the owner of the goat heard the animal crying from the kraal at Zist Village, Ga-Maleboho, about 200km northwest of Polokwane.

He went to see what was going on and "came across this man stark naked, busy having sex with one of the goats".

Phala said the man was even more shocked to discover the naked man (42) was his nephew and his neighbour.

The shocked uncle summoned the police who arrested the man.

He would appear in court soon.
