Tru Principle said:I respect the intentions of this project, I respect the initial hope to produce music the way we could assume Tupac would of wanted it... but at the risk of being called a hater, this is probably the least project i'd ever be excited for. I think there are a few decent tracks, but that's where it ends. Nothing mind blowing.
The mixtapes are certainly alot harder to listen to than anything Eminem has does, because atleast Eminem actually can make a nice beat or two even if they don't fit with Tupac's vocals.
I would only assume, and maybe I am dead wrong, but the people supporting this project might be doing it for a reason other than actually enjoying the music because I can't see how anybody with the ability to hear can actually be excited for part III knowing how weak I and II were.
Nevertheless, good luck with the project but and if this one turns out dope i'd support it but give me an internet made remix over these mixtapes anyday.
Rahim said:Most of the songs on part 3 are going to be OG's, that's what makes this album so exciting. This project is dependent on representing "The Way He [2Pac] Wanted It" because most of the songs on this album will be kept original (from what I was told), the way 2Pac recorded them.
Tru Principle said:Yeah sure, I can see where you're coming from but the remixes and mixing on part I and II were horrible they really were...
And i'm not the first to have his opinion. It was just a major let down. We thought we were going to get beats that really represented Tupac, but it was done exactly like Loyal To The Game but alot worse.
Rahim said:Yeah I see what your saying too...honestly..I still havn't even heard part 1 and 2, but I saw that half of the people liked it, and the other half didn't. I think it was more of a main stream thing cause the pac fans who listen to a lot of other mainstream artists were probably the ones who enjoyed the production the most, and the people that bought it who were just straight pac fans didn't enjoy it as much as all the mainstream listeners...
But I'm definetly excited about this album cause it's really going to have a lot of original material. The way 2Pac recorded..the way it's supposed to be...."The Way He Wanted It"....
