Ludacris has reportedly signed on to take part in a new reality series for Planet Green (Discovery Networks' new channel) called Battleground Earth.
According to Daily Variety, Battleground Earth will pit Ludacris against Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee in various competitions which highlight environmental issues.
The competition will take place across the U.S. and will wrap up in Los Angeles where both artists will co-headline a concert with proceeds going to Griffith Park.
The series, which will be ten episodes long, will begin filming in the next few weeks and will debut in late July or early August.
Planet Green, a 24 hour network dedicated to people who live an ecological lifestyle, will debut nationally on June 4th.
In related news, Ludacris has been added to the cast of the big-screen adaptation of the popular video game Max Payne. The flick's cast includes Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis and is currently in production .
Other movies which Ludacris is attached to include Ball Dont Lie with Nick Cannon, and RocknRolla with Idris Elba which opens in October.
