Los Angeles is suing Rockstar Games for embedding sex scenes in its popular videogame, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

The suit filed Thursday by Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo claims the sexy mini-game hidden within the main game would have garnered Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas an adults-only as opposed to a mature rating, KNBC-TV, Los Angeles, reported Friday.

"Sexual acts are visually depicted and the player can direct the game's principal character in acts of oral copulation and intercourse," the suit says.

The embedded scenes prompted the game to be re-rated by the industry to adults only in July. Many video game retailers that do not sell adults-only rated games then took it from their shelves, the City Attorney's office said.

Delgadillo's suit requests civil penalties against Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive Software, for allegedly violating the state's Business and Professions Code.

this is a joke. only in the u.s....

dont rate it mature due to excessive violence and gang glorification, but because of HIDDEN sex scenes with minor nudity which can only be played with a modification - which has to be downloaded...

Isnt it only for the PC? (you could download a patch which took some code shit outta the game, then you could see sex scenes...)

they already took the game off the self and started making new games where the patch cant do shit.

If you want to get into specifics it's both the Xbox and PC versions.
