Lord Jamar - The 5% Album

#1
Drops at the end of June

Fire in the hole recieved some unfair criticism and I've always liked Brand Nubian. The concept of the album is interesting since it fundamentally serves to generate interest in a movement forgotten about by the media. I've been bumping a couple of leaked joints for a minute in which RZA, GZA and Raekwon all make some impressive guest appearances. With the exception of The corner, The Streets production seems to be on point for the most part.

Anyone else anticipating this album?

I'm keeping an eye open for it, but I don't expect anything better than Sadat X's last album (which was pretty good).

As far as that strain of hip-hop goes, I'm more excited about Wise Intelligent's solo, if it ever drops.

Sadat X's last opus was pretty good, if this album is just as good i'll definately pick it up. No real expectations for it, I usually have a listen to anything Nubian.

peace.
