I am going to be launching a blog section of the main site which will focus on blog like editorials and commentaries on what is going on in Hip-Hop today.
I myself will be writing a blog, a rapper will also be writing a blog (we will call him Rapper X as he will be giving out a lot of juicy info and doesn't want to piss his bosses and peers off), we're talking with other industry people as well. I think Farzin from here will also blog, and we have some other writers we are considering.
Anyway, I want to give some of you the opportunity to voice your opinions on a public domain. StreetHop.com is currently getting around 10,000 unique visitors a day so this is a huge platform and much larger than simply posting a thread on the board.
This isnt a sign up blog service, we will select you to be part of this based on knowledge, writing style and ability to have a valid and entertaining opinion.
Personally I would love to see the likes of roaches and Chronic put their hands up; but I would love to see some others step forward.
Please keep in mind, this is a blog about HIP-HOP and we dont really care if your pet cat died or you have a hot date on Saturday night; this is about your opinions on Hip-Hop music, culture, the stars, and gossip you may have heard around the place.
Finally, we'd expect about 3 submissions a week with a minimum word count of 200 (by comparison this post is about 330 words long.)
