Sometimes good parenting just back fires. Keep in mind, after a certain age kids tend to get a lot more influenced by their friends than their own parents.
I can think of a few good examples of people I know that were very well raised, but they just followed a wrong group of people and one thing led to another.
Those may be specific cases, but I agree for the most part parents don't act like parents anymore. Parents seem to think its more important to be 'friends' with their kids. Fuck that shit. My daughter dresses up like like a fucking pornstar, I'ma tie that bitch up to a radiator, feed her fish heads twice a day while playing Gospel music in the background.

I don't know I look at my sisters, they have smart friends, and when they have somebody who's acts whorish or too extreme they just don't behave like them. it's about putting a head on those kids' shoulders.
