Lincoln - Kennedy Deaths Linked?

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

All these events and dates are true. I found this on the web and thought Id share. They are most Likely just conicidents but who knows

I am really dissapointed by Snopes' efforts to discredit this research. I find it unnecessary that a website like Snopes.com should comment on what is a coicidence and what is not. If you read that page you've posted, Snopes.com doesn't actually prove most of the facts wrong. It merely repeats "Ah, that's hardly a coincidence."

Snopes.com needs to keep its opinions to themselves and simply report on what is false.

1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 9 have nothing to do with their deaths, and don't fit into any kind of conspiracy theory.

5 is not much a coincidence, for the reasons Snopes notes.

6 is even less of one, since most assassins would go for a headshot.

10 and 11 are, as Snopes points out, coincidences. Why would somebody deliberately pick people who are known by three names which total 15 letters to kill the President?

What exactly do those who think this is anything but a series of half-coincidences believe this proves?

Clearly, some people (naming no names) only need see the slightest coincidence to jump to a huge, convoluted conclusion such as the ones this article implies.

We all know they're coincidences. So? We like reading about coincidences. I don't know what the big deal is. There is no conspiracy theory and Illuminatille is standing up for one of his favorite websites.

I can't believe some people are brushing these coincidences off as insignificant and uninteresting. It is very interesting, and they are significant because they regarding two important person's in USA's history.

There are always some people that are trying to spoil everything.
