Rapper Lil Wayne was indicted by a Yuma grand jury on Tuesday, January 12, on felony drug and weapons charges.

According to the Associated Press, the rapper (real name: Dwayne Carter Jr.) has been charged with one count each of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia, stemming from his January arrest in Yuma, Arizona where his tour bus was searched at U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint.

Weezy pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Friday, February 8, and has yet to really discuss the matter.

In a recent interview with Billboard, he said "I've got nothing to say about that."

Weezy was stopped at a checkpoint on January 22, which resulted in a search of his tour bus by Drug Enforcement Administration agents who discovered nearly 4 ounces of marijuana, just over an ounce of cocaine, 41 grams of Ecstasy, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, and a .40 caliber handgun (it is registered to the rapper, but he only holds a concealed-weapons permit in Florida).

He was arrested shortly after the search, and held overnight until his arraignment later that day, where he posted a $10,000 bond and remains free.
