yeah i tried that too, searched hernando and came up with nothing. at first i thought it was emit till but i know its not.

Hernando had nothing to do with this guy.

James Meredith is his name. He's still alive.

He gets shot by a sniper in this picture. He is an American civil rights movement figure much like MLK.

The white guy in the cartoon picture was the photographer of the actual pic!

actually the Buddhists were protesting the south vietnamese goverment for religious persecution. The south Vietnamese goverment at the time was Catholic and they repressed Buddhists. Here were his requests to the goverment before he killed himself.

1) Lift its ban on flying the traditional Buddhist flag;

2) Grant Buddhism the same rights as Catholicism;

3) Stop detaining Buddhists;

4) Give Buddhist monks and nuns the right to practice and spread their religion; and

5) Pay fair compensations to the victim’s families and punish those responsible for their deaths.
