Lakers skirt around K.G. questions

Got this from the rumor mill. Im not saying its going to happen but lets all chat about it anyhow.:thumb:


Mitch Kupchak and Coach Phil Jackson spoke to about 900 season-ticket holders Monday night at the team's annual "town-hall meeting" and fielded questions on topics that included Andrew Bynum and Kevin Garnett, a definite nod to the future instead of the present. The second question of the night drew enthusiastic applause from the audience: Is Garnett in the Lakers' future? Neither Kupchak nor Jackson answered it directly, citing league tampering rules, although Kupchak did eventually say that, generally speaking, "You've got to trust myself and Dr. [Jerry] Buss that we'll do everything to get a top player." Garnett is not a free agent, but he can opt out of his contract after next season.:horny:

Mike Bibby's name has been mentioned as a possible top player to come to LA next season. Bibby knows the triangle

Phil wants the right pieces in LA. he wants that 10 title. he'll get the right guys in there.

If the Lakers werent ridiculed with injuries this season they would have easily won 55 games. they would have been healthy they couldve contended with Phoenix and Dallas for that top spot in the west.

Ya the injurys defeiantly hurt us but our point guard position is horriable smush parker is a joke, and farmar has not faired to well in the NBA, Verajec has done the best out of the three but he is more of a two guard because of his shooting.

The injurys where rough 20 plus games for Lamar and Luke, 40 plus for Kwame but Kwame sucks and im glad he was injured it has given bynum lots of time to play and get better.
