I wanna buy my girlfriend a hair straightener, but not a shitty one, one of those top of the line ones. They have em in stores for like around $300 here.

One that if she straightens her hair as soon as she steps out it wont frizz and one that wont damage her hair.

Any recommendations?

Cheers.

And no, its not for a particular occasion so I dont wanna hear about how a hair straightener is not romantic hehehe, it's just a gift because I know she wants and needs it but she'd never spend that much on it herself.

I use CHI...It works for me. It's not $300 tho. It's $200 at most.

Ghd is the way to go, I got one of these babies for my birthday last year.

I got some connects to get it for $220 but usual rrp is around $300. Do not get those wet to straight ones because I'm told from my hair girl that those will fuck up your hair real quick. But every hair straightener will need heat protection product for the hair. Ghd were the first to come up with the technology I'm told. Plus if you get the thinner ones she'll be able to use it as a curler which works really well. I use mine basically every second day because it stays straight for that long, no frizz and it heats up in seconds.

Get Sedu. It doesn't pull, snag or break the hair. It's also anti-frizz. Take it from a girl with super curly hair... if it can get my hair straight (and it'll last for a few days) i'm sure it'll straighten hers as well. Plus, it's only like $150 or so.

Not only that, but i've used it on a lot of my Black friends who have really kinky hair and it straightens their hair too, so it's guaranteed to work for her. Plus there are a lot of different settings to use so that it can be on low heat or really hot. It's also ceramic which is the new leading thing with flat irons.

I was gonna say get GHD.... All the girls I know rave about them. Not sure on the OZ price.... But they are £100 in UK.

mine is from ga.ma italy professional. works good on me but since i have hair that frizz very easily when it humid, it usually doesn't last more than a day when it's summer (which is extremely good for me). paid it $260 canadian.
