Son of hip-hop legend found dead
The son of hip-hop legend KRS-One has been found dead in his apartment in Atlanta after apparently committing suicide, authorities have confirmed.
Randy Hubbard Parker, 23, who was found on Friday, died of a gunshot wound to the head, medical officials said.
The graphic designer and fashion entrepreneur suffered from depression, said his mother Simone Parker.
KRS-One is best known for hits such as Criminal Minded, Black Cop and The Bridge is Over.
A private funeral will be held on 18 July, which would have been Parker's 24th birthday.
A memorial service in New York where he was born is scheduled for August.
