Who do you reckon is gonna be number 1 in the American charts next week? From what I hear the 2 strongest contenders are KoRn's new album "See You On The Other Side" and Eminem's "Curtain Call"

I think KoRn are gonna get it, because Eminem's is a greatest hits so not that many people are gonna want to buy shit they already have.

Plus Disturbed sold 270,000 first week earlier this year with "Ten Thousand Fists", I would say KoRn are bigger than Disturbed and I reckon they'll do around 350k first week. Plus there has been a shit load of promotion for the KoRn album.

On a related note, I bought the special edition of the new KoRn CD yesterday - what an awesome deal! You get a bonus CD with b-sides, remixes and videos, cool pop-up artwork packaging, AND a years membership to KoRn's fan club.

Wasn't even aware Korn had a new album out. You mentioned that they had some strong promotional work in favour of their album, but this is the first I've heard of it, lol.

I probably won't buy either album, but if I hear good things about the new Korn album, I may check it out.

The new KoRn album is wicked. It just came out yesterday. The video for "Twisted Transistor" has been number 1 on loads of channels, its a spinal-tap style spoof rockumentary with Lil Jon playing Jonathan Davis, Snoop Dogg playing Munky, Xzibit as Fieldy and David Banner as David Silveria. The real Korn guys make a special appearance at the end as well.

The album is awesome, it's the best Korn album for years. Up there with their debut, every song is killer.

I trust your judgement in music. I'll check it out sometime.

Cheers

Thanks for the compliment, that means a lot to me. It's definately worth checking out.

i guess korn's album will sell more than eminem. cuz likeu said, its a greatest hits, not a new album. or maybe people will buy it only for the 3 new songs eminem is releasing on it. but i guess hardcore fans will buy the greatest hits.

as for the korn album, i havent listened to it. not even to the 1st single of the album. but i'll probaby give it a listen someday soon. i dont know much about korn, but i heard one or two tracks and i enjoyed them.

/\ Yeah, that track "wake up now" with korn & biggie is fuckin dope.
