Not sure if I understand this. I guess Phoenix is changing their running style. I like this for Phoenix, but it's changing their entire philosophy. As for NY, not sure if I like it. Q-Rich isn't even necessarily better than Kurt, and you never give up size unless you're definitely improving talent.

I like it for the knicks. we get Q who can go back to posting up and playing his type of game that he had with the clips, he can be the 3rd guard that isiah wants for his 3 guard rotation since houston is always injured. Kurt had to go, i guess this means isiah uses the 8th to draft channing frye and the 30th for another big man as well like turiaf. stephen a smith said that the knicks are also getting a conditional pick so hopefully thats true but i guess we have to wait till its made official after the finals are over.

there's also talk of sean may and chris taft, though 8 may be early for them..

we dont need sean may! hes 6-8 and overweight, we already have sweetney to fill that role, lol. taft was actually projected to go number one at the beginning of the year but he apparantly is lazy and has no heart similar to a player named tim thomas, but i wouldnt mind drafting taft because if he lives up to his potential hes gonna be awesome.

i originally wanted us to draft danny granger because this guy is going to be awesome but this was before the trade for Q, now i hope we get Andrew Bynum, hes 7-1 280 pounds and is 17 years old, his potential is alot higher than channing frye(who in my opinion is soft).

i guess im the only Knicks fan in the world who didnt wanna see Kurt go

everyones calling for his head on the knick forums, but the guy was a guaranteed 10-10 player each game

but getting Q will be a good aquisition, im surprised Phoenix would break up that great starting 5 rather than just get some free agents to add to it (ones who can play defense and come off the bench)

As a Suns fan... I'm 50/50 on how I feel about this. I liked Q-Rich and his style of play was necessary in the Suns success this season. However, things didn't work out well for their play in the playoff's.. so perhaps this is a good move.. but only time will tell.

Bank Robber, I liked Kurt too but he had to go, in my opinion his value cant be any higher right now....hes 32 and not getting any younger. he's very unathletic and can barely jump and dunk the ball, his post defence was suspect all season and in my opinion hes always been overrated on defence...too many average pfs had field days on him. Also i felt that he held back sweetneys playing time(sweets weight also held him back) but we were much better with the ball going into the post rather than watching our starting pf/c launching jumpshots. Im not sure any other starting pf or c in the entire league had only 88 ft attempts all season long.

Dont get me wrong, i loved kurt since when we got him in 99 and he was tough, but i think he lost alot of that over his career as a knick. he'll be a 10/10 lock next year too, but in my opinion phx fans are gonna love kurt because when you put him next to an athletic post player like amare you have a good combination just like nazr next to duncan....but without them im not too sure.

thats just excuse...knicks roster dont have desire to win even if they have leverage in payroll..they dont reflect the hustle the people of city new york grind each day...isiahs team is more for small market city like idaho...

dayum! i didn't wanna see kurt thomas go... but adding quentin richardson was a damn good thing! i'm a big knicks fan... prolly the biggest on the board. i've supported them through thick and thin... and i think i'm loving the addition of quentin richardson..

kurt thomas is a great player who will be a great addition to the suns. he's undersized and plays center at 6'9" and still manages to bring down 10 boards a night, while averaging around 11-12... he's extremely solid and prolly one of the most underrated players to ever step on the court. he's got a good jump shot and is very valuable.

i like this move for the knicks though. i think with the 8th pick they should take channing frye. this will allow for a big body to take the void at center. and also, the dealing of thomas will allow room for mike sweetney to grow into a superstar.

i'd like to see the knicks run it like this:
C - Channing Frye
PF - Mike Sweetney
SF - Quentin Richardson
SG - Jamal Crawford
PG - Stephon Marbury
Key Bench: Tim Thomas, Allan Houston, Trevor Ariza, Maurice Taylor, Malik Rose, and Penny Hardaway

damn! that team looks pretty damn good on paper, if you ask me.
