Kirk Hinrich should be fined.

If you didn't catch the game, or you have seen the constant talk on ESPN then here's the rundown: Bulls v. Heat the other night; Wade tries to run through a screen, Hinrich can't keep up, holds on to Wade's hand and sprains it badly. Apparently it's pretty bad.

As Pat Riley said, this isn't the first time Hinrich has done this--not just to Wade, but other guards in the league. I see him do this all the time and it's beyond annoying. Hinrich is not fast enough to keep up with other guards in the league so he hold on to them in some fashion...generally their wrist or forearm. This is illegal and only gets called a handful of times. The rule of not grabbing is a safety issue. I understand it wasn't his intention to sprain his wrist, but the act itself was illegal. It's not a case of...say...you swing your elbows and you accidentally break someone's nose. No, this is the illegal act of holding. You get ejected or fined when you do that and someone is injured (ie - James Posey basically body slamming Luol Deng later in the game).

Kirt Hinrich should be fined. Bottom line.

Why is his holdin illegal? It might be a foul, nothing more nothing less. Why is it illegal if Kirk holds wade...and a regular foul isn't called "illegal" ... ? I don't get it. There are already way too many calls in this league and now you want them to look at the tape and .... suspend people for regular fouls? I don't agree.

I highly doubt it was intentional eric and if you think he should be fined then your an idiot.

Its a sport and people hold and push and shove and run into one another all the time, You can watch a dozen players do the same thing as hinrich does on screens, refs let them get away with a lot. You cant call every little foul or else the game would be over in a matter of minutes because everyone would have fouled out.

And comparing someone who tackled an individual to someone that grabbed a superstars wrist is the most idiotic thing you can do, two completly different types of situations, one blatent and the other iffy.

Only reason riley is complaining is because he has lost both his superstars and he cant win without them.

If anyone should be fined its you the cry baby fan. God let them play u pansy. Bottom line he should not be fined.
