Kanye West gets HBO television series

Television producer Larry Charles, executive producer of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage, is developing a series for HBO to star rapper/producer Kanye West.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the as-yet-untitled project will focus on a day in what is described as "his crazy, hectic life."

Def Jam founder and veteran producer Rick Rubin will serve as an executive producer on the project, along with Charles and West’s manager, G Roberson.
