The annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will take place this summer with its most diverse lineup yet. Rappers Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Talib Kweli were announced as performers Wednesday, along with blues icon B.B. King, alternative diva M.I.A. and the bluesy Robert Randolph Gospel Show.
The rest of the lineup consists of Bonnaroo's usual array of rock, bluegrass and folk acts. Metallica, Pearl Jam, The Allman Brothers Band, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant, Death Cab For Cutie, Vampire Weekend are also scheduled to perform.
The final 2008 roster features more than 100 bands and 20 comedians performing on 13 stages over four days. Tickets go on sale exclusively through www.Bonnaroo.com on February 16th at noon.
