Well, it wasnt so much as an explosive, more like a flare. I was in the shed today and I found a bottle sodium clorate (weed killer) and the name rang a bell (I looked up home made explosives a while back), so I turned the bottle round and saw "WARNING: MAY BE EXPLOSIVE", Jackpot!
I had a look online but all the instructions I could find were about boiling bleach or salt to make a compound. I didnt understand half the shit they were talking about, other than the process produces a clorate. I saw something along the lines of "2 parts clorate 1 part icing sugar", so i mixed to tea spoons of the sodium clorate with a tea spoon of icing sugar, poured into a paper tube I made and stuck a few matches to act as a fuse.
I took the shit outside and ignited the matches. Nothing happened, the matches burned out. So I thought "fuck it" and ignited the paper tube, within a second, the shit shot out this big ass flare like flame. I ran lol.
It burned like that for a good 2 minutes.
I'll make some more in the morning and upload a video.
