Jurassic 5 release anti-Bush video

#1
The first single from Jurassic 5’s latest outing, Feedback, will be accompanied by a video that openly attacks George Bush.

The video for ‘Work it Out’ (which features the Dave Matthews Band) sees the camera in pursuit of a gleeful Bush who runs amok in the city of Los Angeles. Rappers Akil, Zaakir, Marc 7, Charlie 2na and DJ Nu-Mark deliberately make understated appearances in the video to keep the focus on Bush.

In the video, Bush is depicted listening to J5 on his Ipod, abusing the unemployed, increasing the price of gasoline and, in a scene sure to ruffle feathers, urinating in public.

The video also throws subtle jabs at censorship, police brutality and the recent politicised issue of telephone bugging in a wholly successful satire. Dick Cheney and Condoleezza Rice also make an appearance.

The song is one of the strongest and most radio-friendly from the album, it is inevitable the video will be circulated heavily in the coming weeks and months.

To support their latest album Jurassic 5 are currently touring all major US venues. The last event is scheduled to be at the House of Blues in Las Vegas on September 13th.
