After the incident that took place at an Akon concert in June of last year in Fishkill, Dutchess County, a judge recently scheduled Akon’s trial to be held in December for charges on, and relating to the endangerment of a minor.
During the incident, an innocent woman was hurt.
The situation started when 15 year old Anthony Smith threw an object on to the stage where Akon was performing.
Akon asked the audience to point out the person who threw the object, which then lead to a body guard forcing the boy to the stage and Akon then picking the boy up and throwing him back to the audience; hitting the women.
While Akon could face over a year of jail-time, both sides would like to resolve the situation before the scheduled court date.
