An interior designer is claiming that Jay-Z used his designs to decorate one of his 40/40 Clubs without first seeking permission.

Ilan Waisbod has filed a lawsuit against the rap mogul alleging that his designs – including flat-screen televisions, hanging chairs and a Lucite safe to guard the pricey alcoholic beverages – were incorporated without permission into Jay-Z’s second club in Atlantic City, reports the New York Post.

In the announced expansion of his 40/40 franchise into Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Singapore, Jay-Z was planning to use Waisbod’s same décor in those venues as well. Per the lawsuit filed last week, Waisbod claims the re-use of similar designs violated the club's agreement with his design firm, Studio Gaia.

In other Jay-Z news, the former rapper has announced that actress/model Jaime King will be the new face of his Rocawear clothing line.
