Jay-Z has slammed the way Notorious BIG and Tupac's murders have been investigated, insisting they will never be solved because police officers aren't interested. Jay-Z is convinced the assailants' identities would be discovered if the authorities invested as much effort into the investigations as they do when police officers are murdered. He says, "They weren't police officers. If a police officer gets killed that has to be 100 per cent solved. They absolutely will find the person." But the musician-turned-businessman also admits any resolution is compromised because people are either too scared or too proud to divulge information. He explains, "It's not a cool thing to be labelled a snitch. People are afraid to talk, afraid for their life or whatever. "Also everyone's watching, so ego kicks in. No one can back down."
