I thought it was good. I liked it better than Three Kings.
I thought it was pretty sad when Troy started to cry because he couldn't kill his enemy. I think, to him, killing an enemy was his purpose and he really wanted to. You kept hearing things like "when do we get to shoot someone" during the movie. So, I think it was a big disappointment. Not the kind of situation I go through day to day.
Another thing I felt was the fear of losing someone you love to another peron (cheating,breaking up) while you're away. Swoff was anxious about losing his girl for most of the movie and then there was that weird moment when they watch the tape of the guy's wife getting fucked.
The scene that stuck to me the most was the oil covered horse. I thought it was very mysterious and sad in a way.... something weird about it...
