Queens Rapper Ja Rule catches the ire of a New York State Supreme Court Judge after the rapper put up thousands of dollars to bail out two co-defendants in his gun possession case.

According to Associated Press, "Justice Micki Scherer feels that the rapper has put himself in the position of perhaps controlling the outcome of the case".

When asked, the Judge said "I think the potential for it is a big problem".

The case dates back following a Lil Wayne concert at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan.

After being pulled over by the NYPD, officers discovered a .40 caliber handgun, and arrested Rule along with both of his friends, Mohamad Gamal, and Dennis Cherry.

Ja had to put up his Saddle River, NJ mansion to make up for their combined bail of $320,000.

His attorney, Stacey Richman, told the court that the defense would try to come up with separate bail packages for the other two men.

The Judge is expected to rule next month on the prosecutor's request for DNA samples for the defendants.
