J. Dilla produced Do For Love?

I was just reading on another hip hop forum a thread about J. Dilla's best tracks and it mentioned 2pac - Do For Love.

Did he produce the OG of the song? Or did he produce the remix on RUSD? (I dont have the RUSD booklet handy right now).

If Dilla and Pac did connect ever, I'm surprised it isnt more frequently mentioned.

The thread in which I found this seemed to be written by someone who was something of an authority on J. Dilla...

Anyone know who produced the OG of Do For Love, and if it was Dilla?

J Dilla didn't produce the OG or the remix.
He made a beat and produced for The Pharcyde "Y?"
The beat was used in the retail version of Do For Love but he wasn't credited.
