Hmm. Alot of u seem to think IQ tests draw tha line. Most of u seem to b unaware that "IQ tests" are biased, culturally and ethnically. That is why people in psychology departments have huge debates over what really measures intelligence. The only reason "IQ tests" are even taken n surveyed is because it givs a GENERAL sense of sumone that is from retarted to very intelligent, in tha sense of big differences, such as a margin of large amounts of points. Bein 5 points above or less don't show anytin.

N I disagree wit hatin white ppl, that Ghetto Ghost says, but Ruk, ur bein racist when ur sayin only African Americans r oppressed, ur wrong. U been to America? Unless ur a well off Persian, just like if ur a well of African American, ur gonna get oppressed n endure racism, especially in Cali. Same wit Arabs, n Hispanic n even poor white ppl. N I think it's also the case that ur university is such, because people tend to try to fit stereotypical modes rather than hav a higher intelligence. Azn culture makes it so that is wat Azn's r supposed to liv up to, in comparison wit say, a Hispanic family which puts more emphasis on familial duties rather than education duty.

Knowledge is an amount of information one has, not necessarily the intelligence one possesses.

If this guys theory was right and all Black people are going to be stuck being dumber than White people for the rest of their life due to the way God made us dumber than everyone else, then I would be dumber than every White person i come in contact with including my roommate. So, even if only one person doesn't follow his plan of thinking then it kinda throws his whole theory off.

He doesn't say sometimes Whites may be more intelligent that Blacks, he says Whites ARE more intelligent then Blacks.

He means in general. I don't agree with the study because these things are like censuses. However, you can't deny the article by claiming you are smarter than your white friend.

That's a good question, which ppl in tha psych field always asks. Intellligence is a science, n hardly anytin in science is law.

Knowledge n intelligence can go hand in hand in alot of instances, but not necessarily. Let's say u ur knowledgeable in sum sort of data, let's say u kno tha dates of sumtin or a quantity of sumtin. Bein able to apply that is intelligence, knowin it is just knowledge. So, let's say sumone says whites r smarter than blacks becuz they apply the knowledge they learn in school n better classes to sumtin on an IQ test. Well, the black man COULD apply it, he's intelligent enough, but since he was never given tha data, how can u expect him to apply it? Alot of stuff on IQ tests r based on stuff u learned from ur environment n culturally, which is y there is tha question of givin IQ tests based on the environment ur raised in.

Tha simplest, least IQ tests r tha ones wit shapes n blocks since they represent tha least biased. But every other type of test is questionable, n which is why many in the psychological field don't rely on these tests 100%

N notice, not everythin u read is necessarily tru. N it's not necessarily false. Obviously, science is experiments, this was one or 2 scientists testin their own samples. Unless ur readin their data, I wouldn't take everythin to b tha whole truth. Science changes all tha time. To fall into tha trap of believin any theories scientists always comes up wit is tru is just ignorant since data changes all tha time. Imagine livin to tha same science a hundred years ago. Sterilization would hav destroyed all tha colored ppl on earth, but many ppl dont kno the history of eugenics.

I'm not sayin throw away science, it's all good. But remember it's dynamic, not static...So learn it, but don't b brain washed believin it's always tha real deal.

I'm Black and I have a perferct GPA and one of my rommies is White and she's struggling along in school with a 2.8. Not only that but I have her beat in the common sense department too.

First, a smart person who doesn't apply herself is going to do worse in school than one not as smart who does apply herself. So a higher GPA number is not really saying much.

Second, neither is an IQ test number. IQ tests are not a pure test of innate ability. All it might be saying is that men do better than women on IQ tests. Or whites do better than others. And who came up with the tests? White men. What a surprise. Even if there's some truth to men being more intelligent than women, women have another form of intelligence: beauty.

But seriously, are men more emotionally intelligent than women? No. More intuitively intelligent? No. More compassionately intelligent? Need I continue?

So we're good at math and math-like thinking. What woman wants that anyway?
