Is 'Wigga' racist?

I get called Wigger just for listening to hip-hop, it was even worse 10-15 years ago. But most of the people calling me names are now into hip-hop. Funny world.

I also get the "you fancy tupac" jokes for being a fan. And I get shit for going on this forum.

But being into hip-hop doesn't make anyone a wigger. It's when you try to adopt the culture and history as your own. People who call each other "Cuz" and yet don't understand the word, or the fact it can get you killed saying it to the wrong person.

i def. dont think "wigga" is racist.

people use the word to describe white people who try to "act black"...

if anything thats more disrespectfull to black people seeing as there is no way to actually act like a black person. thats basically like saying all black people are the same. and when you see a white person with a g unit tee and a bandana on its not exactly acting black imo its just a style/fad/fashion statement, etc.

sometimes people refer to white people as wiggas because the way they talk might sound similar to another black person but imo any person, whether they are white or black, who talks to where you can barely understand them, isnt a wigger or a nigger, its just a fuckin retard who needs to realize how fuckin stupid they look when they talk.

I think some people are ignoring the obvious here, when people say wigga its basically saying a White person seems fake and taking on an attitude that stems from Hip Hop / Rap which has a majority of African American participants. To make that a shorter sentance people say "acting black" its not saying this one person is acting like Tupac, Condolleza Rice, Nelson Mandella and 50 Cent all at the same time. I mean the word is white nigga so lets not get over sensative about the "acting black" part I think everyone knows what context its meant in.

You've heard the word definition of the word Wigga. So,whats left there to do now? It would only be a right and sensible thing to do and see the art/actual definition of the word. And whos better at that but non other than this board mate eric, big easy.
Does it make you cooler to wear a du-rag when ur white? :woah:

Does wearing a cloth on your head make you a wigga? .... FUCK THAT! - Pirates were wearing do-rags way before any 'gangsta' rapper was.

Do-rags are sold by catering companies to chefs who wear them in the kitchen, does me being a chef make me a wigga?

From what I can make out from the majority of posts here; wigga is racist, only indirectly. Wigga being a diss that has race as its foundation. How is that not racist?
