Just to clarify just because you have a kid doesnt mean you "give up" your social life. My best friend has a son and they dont let it stop them, most things you can take a kid with you. Plus I think its good for the kid to get out amoungst people.
Anyway on topic. Have you noticed how grown some kids look, they really dont look their age these days. Due to alot of things like diet, including all those hormones in the meat they eat. Although media has a hand its not the only influence.

i don't mean give up your social life completely, but can you think of many things that high school kids do for fun where it's a good idea to have a baby around? i can't think of too many.

There is some truth to what you say, but there is also why people, girls in particular, look older than their age: they want to. Most 12, 13 14 year old girls nowadays look like they should be working a corner, rather than going to school. and that is partly the media's fault for promoting people like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. It's also the parents' fault fot not putting their foot down and saying no to their kids when they go out of the house looking like a whore. Of course it's not only girls, because guys always pressure, or try to pressure girls into sex, and a lot feel like they are losers if they are still virgins. I jus think that the media presents sex so casually, that young people get the idea that its no big deal, when it really is

The examples (fashion n such) are true and I'd place the blame for that more on media/parents. But I was also pointing at body development, kids are getting taller and maturing younger (physically speaking).

People need to start discplining their damn kids. Always spoiling them and letting them have their way. People you can't start when they're already grown, you have to start in the adolescents, otherwise you be wondering why you kid won't listen to you and do what you say.

Has anybody seen that white girl in that movie I think its called 'Thirteen', I wanted to run in that movie with a belt coz her mother wasn't doin a damn thing. I dare her ass to talk back to me.

i blame the world for believin kids r not old enough to hav sex. Back in the Middle ages, girls wer parents as soon as possible. The media is jus tryin conserve history, and bring the world back to the way its supposed to be

You do realize condoms break? birth control isn't 100% effective? nothing is completely effective in preventing pregnancy other than not having sex. So you should think about these things before you are really ready to have sex. And like salty said, can you really afford to pay for all that stuff? I find it unlikely that at 16, and with little to no work experience, you would be able to get a job that would pay you enough to afford all that. Also, are you ready to essentially give up your social life to help raise a kid? there's a lot of stuff people don't think about when it comes to sex, and you really should.

Abortion is the answer.
