Um, I'ved only posted 22 times in the last 20 days. Thank you for misconstruing though. I've only posted 8 times in the Streethop section, and I've posted 10 times in Our Block, 5 of which are in this thread. Compare that to how some of the most contributing members, including myself, used to post. Maybe you didn't see my charts:

Our Block was the heart of this forum. You think people stayed here for the breaking news or Ruk's business? Ha! People came here for the Life forum, stayed in the short run for the Life forum, and stayed in the long run for the Thugz Mansion/Our Block forum. No one gives two shits about Streethop, which is exactly why this board is faltering right now. It used to be about Tupac and the people. Now it's about StreetHop and business. Sorry to break some hearts, but this board is dying not because of the "bullies" who drive people away, but because of the decisions and policies of the people running it.

while this could also be because maybe HUMOR itself has evolved since back in the days, i'm going to lean towards the inside jokes-thing. you are right. you have people like traz who would do the audio thing and the pictures, what's basically wrong with the forum is a lot of people stopped doing shit and started expecting shit. once traz died out we had to face the realisation that this board is like a community rally. everybody got their voice, but if there's no one leading we're just a bunch of sheep standing in a big ass herd. so basically, people would have to get off their ass and make an effort to make their posts. like AMs charts, it's not like he made a major effort but it prolly took him a few minutes to gather those infos, feed them into ms word, and then exporting them to image files and ultimately posting them up here. if everyone would spend at least a few minutes on their posts, i'm pretty confident things would be different around here.

we can all pull the "it's just the internet" card on this next one, but fact: through science you can do research on an online community and point out it's characteristics and flaws. i think the problem has a lot to do with the general mentality of a lot of the older members. and it's not like you spend too much time during your day thinking about the persona you project on the internet. i think that for this board to change, all the frequent and old-time users need to take the first step from being catered to, to catering to the newbies that we were once ourselves. i mean i could sit here and record audio about AM and talk about his sexy shoulders and his unibrow (or whatever else you guys would think of as funny) with my corny norwegian accent, but c'mon lol.

this site has potential to reach so far beyond just 2pac. lest you forget, this site is more hiphop and other shit than it is 2pac.

And then there are the guys who feel the need to start their own thread about something that is already being talked about. It's everywhere. Everybody feels a need to make a new thread about the Pac's Life album rather than posting in the same one, everybody makes a new thread about Doctor's Advocate, everybody starts up dumb polls, etc. There aren't anymore truly thought-provoking threads.

I talk to Calc almost everyday and he posts on this board almost 5-6 times a week, but just under another screen name. He left inbetween for about 6 months and contacted me when he made the return.

Stefan, what point are you trying to make here? It's quite obvious that you're doing your best to refute any little thing that AmerikazMost is trying to say. The fact is that the level of entertainment on TB has gone down. You can have different theories on why, but fact remains fact. Donating money to this board will help keep it alive because of the costs, but won't improve the level of entertainment that the board provides. Like AmerikazMost used to say, it's the posters that make this place what it is, not the institution or the freebies(porn in VIP) that are provided. Now, it is completely true that if we put more effort in, we could make the board more entertaining. In the end, you can point out a problem without providing a solution. It's not hypocritical or immoral.

Yep, the board pretty much sucks now, i can remember around the time i joined end of 2003 till mid 2004, the board was very active, there was decent discussions in Street Hop (But was called somethign else back then i think ), all you get in there is bullshit about Game, 50 Cent & Jay-Z etc.

I hope they un-ban my account from 2003, i didn't even do anything fucked up to deserve a life ban.
