Hypothetically I don't believe it's any worse to hit a woman than to hit a man. I mean, there's some fierce chicks out there that fight harder than a lot of dudes.

There was actually a documentary on TV in the UK a couple years back that dealt with the topic of domestic abuse, but of women that beat their husbands. It almost never gets reported because of the stigma/ego/whatever of the guy.

I mean, shit, if any of you guys were in an abusive relationship would you call the cops or whatever on her? I doubt I would. But it's got to really suck for the guys that happens to, because if they do anything in retalitation, they're automatically the bad guy because of how seriously the police treat domestic abuse towards women. I don't know how the police would treat that situation but it seems like a guy could punch a girl once and be seriously fucked, but a girl could beat the shit out of a dude and it wouldn't get treated as seriously. I could be wrong, but that's how it seems.

^^yea i saw a programme about that. one woman eventually killed her husband. The guy wont hit the woman back because of this "never hit a woman" crap and the consequences (will never be the same ) will be much greater for the guy if he does hit the woman even in retaliation. You have a situation where the woman is beating the crap out of the guy but he wont do a thing to defend himself.

Domestic abuse is as much about psychological abuse than it is physical and that can be done by female or male. I agree though female abuse isn't taken as serious as it needs to be.

I don't like the idea of "men should never hit women".. I've run into quite a few females who think that gives them the right to do the most insane things and get away with it.

More men should report when being hit or attacked by a female. It needs to go both ways. A female should be in trouble the same as a male if she attacks him. More reports would result in equal laws I believe.

Violence in general, should never be the answer.
