The fact that Israel has Nukes allows them to be a nuclear monopoly within the middleeast, Iran having nuclear weapons will restore a bit of balance within that region. At the moment Israel is allowed to bomb any country at will ,without fear of any strong reprisals. With Iran having nukes, Israel may learn to have a bit of self-restraint. And how can you say that Iran is developing these weapons in order to destroy Israel. Thats bs, Iran will use these weapons to defend their country and their allies, as every country should.

All they need to do is rely on their fire power and resolve the situation through violent means. Maybe if a few other middle-eastern countries develped nuclear capabilities, then Israel may learn to practice a bit of diplomacy.

With this said, we can say that Iran should be allowed to have weapons. I doubt Iran will go bombing all the places in the world, they might be powerful though in case U.S.A. gets attacked by them, we can expect the whole NATO bombing them. Khomeini is not stupid, if he was, he wouldn't be so long in power.

On the other side, allowing a country that is run by a dictator it's not a smart option, and thus the U.S. needs to stop this kind of situations (like it's trying right now).

However, the U.S. has allowed this dictator-kind of countries before, let's say for example: China.

This is what bothers me so much. The "moral high ground" a lot of Westerners are claiming towards other (most notably Middle Eastern) countries.

Be honest, who are you to deny or grant an other country the right to X or Y? Who told you to do that? Who gave you that right?

The percieved moral superiority concerning the differences between countries really disturbs me. The "we are right and they are wrong" attitude so emphasizes the reigning attitude right now in the west. And i'm getting even so sick of it.

I'm not even touching the point who is "right" and who's "wrong" and who is supposed to have nukes and who isn't, because frankly i stopped caring a while ago. It's all politics in the end. It's the moral vanity of certain groups and amongst them politicians which are drawing the blood from my nails.


We are not better than them. Accept it.

Until the US gives up its monopoly on Weapons Of Mass Destruction I am all for North Korea and Iran having them. Id rather and un easy global ballance than a global nuclear dictatorship ran by America, especially with its economy in trouble.

Yeah, but why should America be allowed to dictate who does and doesn't have Nukes according to their needs, the world doesn't revovle around America. Countries should be allowed to make decisions about their own needs and security. I don't know who has allowed America to have this attitude which makes them think that they run this world. The Iranians should make a decision according to what they want.
America is just another location on the map in my opinion and they have no right to tell anyone what to do. They are just allowing themselve and thier allies to get stronger, while sanctioning any country who doesn't adopt or agree with their policies. If a country such as Israel has Nukes, then why not allow its neighbour to have the same privelige. Surely they deserve this protection.
