Non-Urban Music Invaders Must Die - Prodigy

new album, noticed it in the store and thought i'd by it because more often than not i walk out of a store with only a bottle of soda, thought id buy this as i have and like a lot of their previous stuff. am dissapointed at the whole album but am totally digging the omen track, theres great lack of keith flints vocals on the album, and sounds like most of the album was made with a computer programme and sythesizor, didnt like the album at first as it differs a lot from fat of the land which i like, its starting to grow on me though

i agree, the direction of this album isnt founded on the styles of their previous albums, there is a rock element to the first track, the second track sums up what the prodigy style means to me, both tracks of this one album are two of the best

Ive not listen to it properly but there are a few tracks that I like, admittidly its not the best one, Fat of the Land is gonna be hard to beat out of all their albums.

I think they need to progress a bit more, try a few different things. Many of the elements of their music are still kind of stuck in the mid 90's. Their existing fanbase might not like it but they need to stop 'playing it safe' as it were.

Correct, IMD is a very different album compared to their older stuff. More polished, more electro, less edgy.

I give Prodigy all the kudos for trying new things, don't get me wrong, but for me it's not up to par with their old shit, which totally blew me away. And still does.

Invaders must die and Omen are good track, but my fav. is Warrior's Dance. :) It's funky.

I've met Maxim a few times, he's from Peterborough like myself. Went to the same school as me, my friend from school lived next door to him, another friends brother who I socialise with was his best friend, and im friends with his niece. He's done a few tracks with her, they're pretty sick. I remember buying Music for the Jilted Generation. That was like the coolest CD I ever bought.

I just glad they are still making music. Prodigy FTW!
