Who has this book?...i just got it, and it's great! really personal shit from Tupac. the book is about letters that Pac sent for a woman called Angela Ardis while he was in prison. It's similar to The Rose That Grew From Concrete, with copied letters and then a clean print after it. It's lots of letters and lots of poems that Pac wrote for her. I never knew about this woman in Pac's life before, but it seems like they had a pretty deep relationship...

here's one of the first poems Pac wrote for her (copied word for word)

(4 Angela)

"4 Those Nights When U R Alone"
by Tupac Shakur

U ever share your soul with a stranger
Only to realize he was a long lost friend?
Ever talk 2 a man like u talk with a woman
And share what you can't with other men?

Can u picture your love being given
2 a criminal stuck in this hell
Can u promise 2 hold off from judging him
Until the day when you really know him well

Can u close your eyes and imagine
If everything went right
The power of passion finally possessed
After all those sleepless nights

I bet u think I'm gaming you
Just like all the men in your past
Cuz' all of them promised you heaven on earth
But none of them seem 2 last

AFTER ALL, WHAT CAN I OFFER U?
Besides Lonely Nights & Sweet words
Promises of pleasure to come
And lines you've already heard

All I can say is have faith in me
And in time maybe you'll come 2 c
The definition and true meaning
Of FRIENDSHIP can be discovered in me

(written exclusively 4 Angela from Tupac Shakur)

P.S. Angie, This is but a small but sincere token of my intentions 4 u Hope u like it It is the only one of it's kind That's on everything I love! No bullshit!

(P.S. Again) What the hell is your last name?

LOVE

i read some of it in the bookstore the other day, it was cool, ima buy it 2moro.

yah its a way cool book alright - i totally envy that girl for the experience she had with pac... id die to have been her going thru that....

i luv it when he turned up at her doorstep........ omg b like woo hoo

I have it and it definetely is a good read...but I do think it was morally wrong of Ardis to release the book. Those letters are personal things from Tupac, it just seems rude to show them to the whole world. I wouldn't like it if someone I wrote letters to shared them with people.

I've got it too and it gives a good look on how he felt that time and his feelings on so much things. The whole book is another positive and passionate message.
And I don't think it's rude to release this since he PAST AWAY.. and remember that pac was always very open with his feelings and wanted every1 to read what was the real pac.

Yeah, my first thought was that the book was rude. It's even in the book that Tupac asked her not to share any of that with anyone. Wow However, Afeni o.k.ed the book so it's all good, i guess.

The book is a good read though and I think the lady's heart was in the right place by trying to paint a softer imagine of Pac

Judging from Tupac's posthumous albums, what Afeni OKs doesn't say anything about the quality or morality. ;)

That's true. I spoke to the author though. She's a good kid and Tupac fans have really really been giving her a hard time. I don't think the lady meant any harm.
