The law enforcement there are not permitted to wear guns, correct? If so, how can they defend themselves from shooters? I heard they can literally kick the hell out of you for a parking ticket. Anyone who live there give me some information about this? :thumb:

well they could block the bullets with there stick... na if theres a call or whateva saying someone got a gun, armed response come 8 hours later.. dont know bout them beating people tho for minor shit.. but there is some bastards, this guy i know told me they got him in back of car and was punching him in head on way to police station, and they turn his cap backwards so he looks like a dick...

Yeah, armed response (British equivalent of SWAT) comes out to firearm calls.

I guess if a regular copper gets a gun pulled on him - bye-bye!

In Scotland, not long ago, a guy walked into a police station with a shotgun & blasted one of the officers at the front desk - & got away!

To be fair, they found him later & had somewhat of a siege outside his flat.

With regards to police brutality, two of my friends were taken in the back of a police van & beaten by two police officers - true story.

Btw, in no way am I trying to say this is a nationwide representation of law enforcement because the two coppers who did were as bent as Graham Norton.

In all terminals. Most noticeable in T1 and T4. But they are there in T3 and T2.

You'll see loads in T1.

They had armed Police before 9/11. The IRA were more of a threat then. But since 9/11 a lot of American funding for the IRA stopped.
I know for a fact the owner of Heinz used to donate 50k a month to the IRA.
