I'd like to comment on some things that I didn't have the chance to before..

Once again we see the AM, PuffScruff, Big Mack, Kami self promotion society.

First, I never mentioned myself or mack, so I feel a little hatred coming from your post.

BUT, since you brought it up, it's undeniable that it's a handful of StreetHop's 28,000+ registered members that make it what it is. There's no need for me to name them all, but if it wasn't for those guys, this board would be boring. It would be a bunch of threads with topics that provoke no type of emotional response (humorous or otherwise) and a whole lot of half-hearted replies that don't insight any discussion or promote any community or relationships.

There ARE core members, whether you like it or not. There ARE members that give the board the special personality. There ARE members that keep it going. People could post their ideas wherever they wanted to. They come here for the people and the atmosphere.

If you have any doubts, just look at D4L before and after Belle left. It still goes, but it's not quite the same.

And stop trying to call out SiGh people

Hear hear! The intelligence level of this board is much higher than your average board. Just look at all the bullshit on boards like AHH. I was a very active poster on Holla-Front for a good 2 years, but the amount of idiots on that board was unbelievable.

Yeah, but what about the fun? Let's face it. The most popular forum is Our Block. It's purpose is not intelligence. That's what WoW is for. I'm not saying it shouldn't be all stupid and disorganized and unruly, but it should be fun.

When's the last time anything in Our Block was "intelligent"?















This is my opinion on the state of the board. Maybe it will be taken with a grain of salt, maybe not. I tend to believe my opinion is respected on here though.

Of course Our Block is intelligent. Even fun must have it's average IQ level. Otherwise Our Block would be a mess of stupid kids with stupid topics insulting the fuck out of other stupid kids. U know before we didn’t even use weekly or daily bans we just banned you for life, I think it says a lot that we do a few days of bans, we are saying hey u messed up, but we are going to give you another shot in a few days to see if it was just a spur of the moment lack of whatever or is this going to happen again. If it happens again and they are banned then that’s there own doing. If that’s hypocrisy then ill take it. As for CORE members go, yes we have them, and yes we will remove them if they cant follow some simple guidelines
