Maybe my definition of "casual" has changed a bit, as all of the current Nike "casual" shoes that I saw look way too ridiculous.
I guess my casual is something I could wear anywhere. I wouldn't go to the office in basketball shoes, even working in tech, even on the west coast. I miss designs that are simple, minimalistic, comfortable all arounders. I have Timberland shoes like that, but they are nowhere as comfortable as Nikes, business shoes are just not comfortable at all, and I just wish Nike still made decent casual/business-casual shoes that don't look like I just jogged to work while hitting the court in my work clothes on the way.

These days I'm into Nike for the comfort, as I find them much better than anything else in that regard, but I just can't find an appropriate design.

I'd say I could wear the first two in a casual setting. The first the most comfortable of the three, with the Air Max 2017s being second.

Nothing compares to the UBs, though. And those are casual as hell, despite being marketed as a running shoe. Lol like I fucking go running.

I think the styles you're looking for are more in Adidas, or some other company. Adidas and Nike, both, are going hard for the urban look on their shoes and I've noticed that too. The trend is AF1s and other various basketball shoes Nike makes that are starting to become accepted as casual wear for everyday use. Ten years ago, those shoes were for people that played basketball, really loved basketball, or blacks and hispanics. And wiggers. Now it's just the norm.

I mentioned tapered leg pants before; I can't wear those. I fit in to them but having them end right above my ankles and leaving just that one inch or two exposed makes me uncomfortable. But that's the fashion trend now and Adidas goes hard on that.
