The full line-up for Glastonbury Festival which is in 3 weeks time has been revealed.
We are headlining the Roots Tent on the Friday, as you can see. And take a look at who is headlining on the Saturday:
The Roots Tent isn't massive, but it fits 2000 people or so and it's always full. It has it's own backstage area where the artists chill, I know this because we played there at the last Glasto in 2005 as well. I ended up meeting nearly all the other artists that played there last time, so looks like I'm gonna be kickin' it with the Marleys!
I think my cousin will have some interesting anecdotes to share with them too - my cousins were the first international producers to be invited to record at Bob's "Tuff Gong" studio in Jamaica when they were recording the first Apache Indian album in the early 90's - they were highly recognised by the reggae scene after inventing the bhangramuffin, or bhangragga genre of music.
Anyway, Glasto is gonna be one mad ass party. I'm debating who else I should go and see perform. I know Mark Ronson is gonna be DJing somewhere, M.I.A will be around, Amy Winehouse, The Who, Lily Allen, Shirley Bassey, The Gossip.... i REALLY wanna see Bjork but I have a sneaking suspicion she may be on at the same time as us on a different stage.
Although I'll probably end up mashed, passed out in a tent, covered in mud, like last time.
I'll be taking plentiful amounts of photos whilst there.
