I think I mistook "Discourse" with "Discord."

I think Discord is a great service and I've seen plenty of communities from Reddit branch off in to Discord, but I think it would kill this forum to use Discord.

I was always a fan of a WhatsApp group for a specific group of people, namely those that are active in the Android thread in the tech sub, but I think that was more just wanting a direct line to Masta
