The follow up to "The Silence in Black and White". If you like TSIBAW, I can gurantee satisfaction in IOYWL. Anyone else heard this, or even like Hawthorne Heights?

all off of "The silence in black and white". my friend used to listen to them alot and when i would go to his house he would always be blasting this cd, thankfully he's gotten over them now

do you mean emo bands, bands that have been around for a while but are still going, or other bands that just recently began?

anything....lets say post-97 to now, especially emo bands. im wondering if you

a) hate rock.
b) hate the emo genre, but generally like rock.
c) like emo, but hate HH.

I love rock, my favorite bands of all-time are Pink Floyd and Radiohead, Radiohead being the one that still makes music. I don't particularly like emo, but there are exceptions. For example I like Saves The Day, listening to them and then listening to Hawthorne Heights is like night and day. HH has nothing that can compare to a song like "This Is Not An Exit", or "Firefly".

I'm surprised you said something about Saves The Day. I made a thread like a month ago for them. The thread got a total of like 4 responses. They are by far my favorite band of all time. Glad to see someone else on here likes them.

The melodies, the emotion, the lyrics. I like how they scream and sing and both sound good. They aren't one of my favorite bands, or even close, but I think they make some pretty good music. The only thing I don't like is that they aren't too well rounded. Even if you hate HH, which you do, I still recommend the song "Decembers". Just listen to that one song, throw out your grudge for a moment, and let me know if you like it.
