Is it just me or did Outkast's Idlewild project sink like a lead balloon?

You are out of your mind. The Love Below was one of the best hip-hop albums in a while. Hey Ya, Roses, She Lives In My Lap, Prototype, Dracula's Wedding
- those are all classics.

It seems Andre couldnt recapture that magic for the songs on Idlewild, though.

It's true, he is. But regardless, there are still some great tracks on there. "She Lives In My Lap" is a serious jam.

yeah i didnt like hey ya much but both cd's are actually pretty good. it took me a while to actually like big bio's album tho. but there are great tracks on both. Idlewild is ok. have only listened to it once or twice tho. i think sometimes outkast is way ahead of their time and too ahead for people to really understand what they(or should i say andre) is trying to do musically. i think that's what really make outkast such...hip ho legends...i dont know if everyone feels they have earned that status but eventually i think they will go down that way with the greats of hip hop

Yea Idlewild is now basically forgottin.. "PJ and Rooster" is a hot track though.

Did Outkast even get nominated for any Grammy's?

Prince just got 5 Grammy nominations for "3121" as well as an Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for "Song of The Heart", which was the lead track he did for the "Happy Feet" movie.

yeah Idlewild is forgotten. it's not a bad album. but dunno. i don't feel it. but Outkast are still great.

and Speakerboxx/The Love Below was good. especially Andre's disc.
