Ice Cube, will host and perform at Spike TV's second annual AutoRox, the only nationally televised awards show honoring and celebrating America's passion for the automobile.
For the first time ever, Ice Cube will perform live his new singles "Chrome and Paint" and "Why We Thugs" off of his forthcoming solo LP, Laugh Now, Cry Later which will be released on June 6, 2006. The 90-minute show, to be taped on April 7 at the Fremont Experience in downtown Las Vegas, will air Tuesday, April 18th on Spike TV.
The star-studded homage to cars will feature categories including Best Luxury Car, Hottest Exotic, Convertible, Sports Car, SUV's, and others.
"AutoRox will celebrate guys' lifelong love affair with chrome, wheels and gears," said Patterson. "Our host Ice Cube is truly passionate about cars and where better than Vegas to make this an all out celebration with big musical performances and the hottest cars of the year."
