I think it means that he needed something to rhyme with mattress and cactus was one of the options. Then, he thought to himself, "cactus has those sharp things (kadafi doesn't know what they're called, I don't either) and maybe it's plausible to say that those sharp things could in fact leave a huge hole in the human body if they penetrate hard enough, but I won't worry too much about this because no fan will actually take the time to analyze this pointless rhyme I just wrote cause I'm just really faded right now...hand me the damn blunt pac."

its obviously a metaphor. but to my interpretation the mattress is your (in general) matress from sleep country and basically kadafi gets pissed off that your sleeping on a mattress and hes not...so what he does is takes his gun out and shoots holes in it like a cactus which is a metaphor for useless. once a cactus has holes in it it is useless and so is the mattress.

Still I Rise OG was my first OG and that line was one of the most memorable lines to me in that song. Thought about it all day. It was also during the time I couldn't tell Kadafi and Fatal apart. How stupid was i. Wish i had an instrumental to that song though. what i think it means is that , u know people mentally sleep, theyre lazy, they dont do anything with thier life, or sleep like sleepin on the knowledge on the way of the worlds, so by missiles i think he means his WORDS, and he sends those missiles thru your MATRESS, matress being you metaphorical "bed that you mentally SLEEP on" and the missles have the capacity to leave holes in your body, metaphorically meaning he'll penetrate you, revealing weaknesses, leaving holes in your body so the light can come thru.
