As for the topic at hand, like the others have said, make sure it's legit first. I can see where your parents are coming from but if the money would help and it wouldn't be as much coming out of their pockets, it might be a different story. They might look at it differently if they see you're trying to help yourself and at the same time, helping them, ya know? But you do have to realize that modeling is very time consuming so if you need to be focused on school, it might not be a good idea. Just make sure you completely weigh out the pros and cons before doing anything. Good luck with whatever you decide.

If its legitimate you should try it, you stand to lose very little other than a few hours. If they ask you why you want to be a model dont tell them "because Im worth it". Im sure the guys at Loreal have heard that one enough times ...
