in 1 month and 2 weeks. In that time I have not managed to find any friends that don't drink every weekend. After this month I won't have any weekend commitments (hopefully) so I think I'll resume drinking again.

There's no point in this thread.

A month and two weeks is pretty good. I'd be proud. I drank a heroic amount of alcohol on Sunday.

Drinking is for fucksies that are boring in real life when they're sober. Beer tastes like cunt fluid and I don't see how people can sit there with a pint and "enjoy" it.

I drink beer and I am not a "fucksy". And it isn't necessarily delicious, but I wouldn't call it "cunt fluid" either. You do have a way with words though.

So says the guy with over 1000 posts since June. I kid, I kid.

I've had the same problem. I tried quitting for like 3 days at at a time and found that it was very hard to reject all my friends' invites to go and drink. It's become a staple of any social interaction. Even people who have respectable careers only have time in the evening for "happy hour" aka getting hammered for cheap.

I guess I had all my fun with alcohol my freshman year. All my friends drink, some more so than others. One ruined his life because of it.

For me, it just seems like girls use it as a reason to act stupid and say dumb things. For guys, they justify fucking fat girls, drunk dialing, getting into fights, etc. with alcohol. And it's not true. Most of the time, you know what you're saying. You just hide behind the veil of alcohol. Six beers in six hours doesn't do that to you.

I go through months of drinking and not drinking. Longest I went without drinking was a little over a year i'd guess. I still go out with my friends who do drink I just don't drink, they don't bug me about it so it's cool. Only thing that gets annoying is you're always dd. Right now I am in my drinking cycle lol

I always feel that if there's one person who's not drinking while everyone else is, the person really puts a damper on the mood and atmosphere in the group. The beauty about everybody being drunk is that a consensus is reached much easier. The sober person always tries to talk you out of shit and be a little bitch wanting to go home before 6am. pussy.

I don't need alcohol to act like a prick.

You made me choke on blueberry smoothie.

I agree with SOFI...the last time I went out as the DD I was annoyed by all the drunk ppl. Took my friend out for his birthday and he tried to slide across the hood of my car like we were shooting a scene from Dukes of Hazzard and put a big ass dent (ass dent heh) in the hood. I made him go home after the first club bc he has puked on me before and I wasn't about to let him get to that point. Once he starts dancing with fat chicks I know he's past his limit. It was kind of entertaining too...but mostly annoying.

Well, I'm plenty crazy when I'm sober, so my decision-making is just like being drunk. I don't think I put a damper on anything. I usually suggest something and the whole group consents unanimously drunkly.
