I'm from the greater Philadelphia area. I've lived here for fifteen years. And I must say that there is nothing I hate more than the Philadelphia Eagles.
Correction. There are two things I hate more than the Eagles: their fans and the Philly media.
The Eagles fans are a collection of the biggest group whining, ignorant assholes on the face of this planet (next to the Republicans). I'm tired of hearing chants like "Reverse the Curse." Fuck them. They're not cursed. The Bambino fucks over the Red Sox for 86 years, and now everyone thinks it's cool to be cursed. The Eagles aren't cursed, they've just lost to better teams the past three years. And as for the years before, they've lacked talent. That's not being cursed, that's sucking.
And I can't stand their chant "E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!". It's not creative, they're just biting the Jets (J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!)harder than these rappers bite Pac.
And I can't stand how they all think they're great fans. They all talk big shit and claim they're great fans, but McNabb throws one interception and they boo his ass like he was Ryan Leaf. The only thing they know how to do better than drink and beat up little kids in Rams jackets is whine. Great fans don't cry about their team, they cry with their team.
As for the media, they annoy the shit out of me. I'm not watching local television or reading the newspaper for two weeks until they lose.
I used to be a Patriots fan back in the day. But a combination of Carolina getting a team and the Pats releasing Ben Coates made me despise them. This will be the first time in years that I root for the Patriots.
Go New England (even if it means listening to my dad gloat all year long).
