I found this interesting.......

there is a forum to discuss body issues you have. i could have done with somthing like it when i was growing up!!!

i like dove anyway cos they use "real women" in their adverts

This is a great idea. Having a little esteem problems myself, more when I was younger, I don't want my little girl to have the same problems. So far I haven't seen any issues with her, except that she's kinda shy at first, and I hope she doesn't develop any. She's a beautiful little girl and I tell her that everyday hoping that she won't get any self-esteem issues as she gets older.
Did any of y'all see Oprah with the 3 year old that was obsessed with being pretty and the 4 year old that was obsessed with not getting fat? I couldn't believe it. It is a shame that these beautiful little girls have such deep issues at such a young age. It is even more of a shame that it is society that makes people feel the way they do about themselves. People put such an emphasis on being the thin model type that even girls that are average size for their age feel fat and unpretty. If people would worry more with themselves than everybody else around them, this world would be a much better place.

^^^very true.

i think companies such as l'orel should take note of what dove are doing, i mean how much do you wanna smack the stunning women when she says "cos you're worth it" (and she doesn't even have cellulite/spots/ whatever the product is for!!) argh!!!!!!

companies such as l'orel and all the others are part responsible for womens low selt esteem
