I Confess, this Moved Me

Wow, that video was dope.

Words are powerful, I don't care what anyone says.

What's funny is that one or two words can actually make a song more powerful and classic than just a hit or even a shitty song. and that's why i don't get why people say "it's just facebook, or just twitter" shit is powerful.

They don't realize, when ppl talk to you, it's more like words that are hurtful/inspiring because they are coming from someone else. When you read shit, it's coming from YOUR inner voice and if it's not relatable to you, it's easily ignored.

Telling someone about the situation without saying the situation is what works and that's what she did for him.

There's something far more interesting going on here. You think this moved you, Hizzle thought too, posted it on his Facebook.

All it is is a commercial for an online marketing firm.

Anyway, the interesting thing is that a commercial as "moving" as this does not get a negative reaction as, say, when Steve Jobs talks about the iPad when it's essentially the same thing. Painting vivid images with simple words.

Blind man: "Hey, lady, what did you do to my sign?"
Lady: "I just wrote, 'I'm collecting money for Charlie Sheen.'"
Blind man: "Hey, thanks. Could you come back next week and write one for Nicolas Cage?'

It's called word of mouth marketing, which is viral in this case. And it works, it's not because it's a marketing campaign that it's bad... Their shit was good. I posted it without knowing that it was for a marketing firm, but if 8 people out of 10 see their name, hey, they did their job.

Hey are you doing a masters or something?

Naw, it's more of a medium-term goal for me. I definitely see myself pursuing it, as well as a CFA. I'd probably go for my CFA designation first then an MBA. I figure I'll wait until I'm ready for a more managerial role in my career and then go for it. After I graduated, I took a bit of a left turn and went into sales which wasn't what I really wanted to do so now I"m finally going back to basics and interviewing for jobs that I actually went to school for lol.
